The Breast Care Team at Northwest Surgical Specialists was the presenting sponsor of the 2018 Bras for Cause campaign benefitting Oregon Cancer Foundation. This year, 71 individuals, groups and businesses created bras during this colorful fundraiser.

The Breastcare Team at Northwest Surgical Specialists was proud to sponsor My Breast Friends 5K to support their patient, Kelly Barton. Funds raised helped cancer patients in Lane County through the Oregon Cancer Foundation.
Born overseas, Dr. Winnie Henderson experienced poor healthcare firsthand. "They don't put a lot of money into healthcare," she says, explaining that corruption and poor facilities are huge problems. Yet, ever since her first Mission trip in 2015 with Cascade Medical Team, she's been hooked.

"The use of herbs and supplements in general is growing in the U.S., and the use of integrative medicine is increasing as more people are interested in supporting their standard treatment, whether it's for cancer, diabetes or other health issues," said Michelle Niesley, ND, MS, FABNO, a naturopathic physician with the Clinic of Natural Medicine, in Eugene, Ore.
"They're looking for things they can do that will give them the best chance to live the highest-quality life they can."

Our team helped raise more than $79,000 for OCF’s Financial Assistance Program by supporting and participating in this inspiring six-week campaign.
